Winter Gloom can Sparkle too!!!
Yes, the days are darker and longer and the cold makes you want to rush from destination A to B expediently, but nonetheless there is good to be found in the winter indoor season, joy, love, family, friends and all those festive decorations that sparkle in our homes, towns and on ourselves. Especially in January when the sales are on. With a major snow storm looming, I am thinking hot cinnamon cider, frothy hot chocolate with tiny marshmellows or better yet, heated, spicy red wine. A comforting drink, a fireplace, an exciting book or movie and maybe a brief shopping spree on the internet should get me through the storm. How about you?
Forecasting for the new year.....pearls are still heavy on the horizon. Pearls sewn onto cuffs, hairbands, brandishing jeans and paired with soft colored stones in jewelry. Soft silky, pastel fabrics paired with subtle, glitter tops shone on the Lagerfeld runway and got me thinking.... In the spirit of winter sparkle....keep looking out for our new "small" earrings, glittering stars, small florals with tiny pearls and delicious, shimmery pastels with pearls and soft colored stones of all sizes, shapes and colors. Oh, and btw......did you notice the rise in gold prices? Gold is always a good investment.....'.just sayin'......
