HELLO, My Friends,

Time flies when you're dodging weird weather patterns, crazy politics, strange viruses and more, but the onset of fashion week always makes me circle back to what I enjoy most... designing. With the upcoming jewelry show next month, my brain inevitably turns to my trade and what is currently trending. Weather and world news be damned for a minute.

There are a handful of new pieces in my modern classic collection that are a reflection of changing styles. Gold has gone up substantially so there is a new fascination with lighter pieces that still make a bold statement. Colored stones have also seen increases, the more beautiful the color, the higher the price, ( what else is new) but.....there are always new "discoveries" that re energize the market. I am seeing a lot of Morganite and Kunzite (soft pink stones), blue Zircon (a dreamy ocean color), and a special interest in pastel colored Amethyst (light purple). Opals and Moonstones are also popping up like mushrooms after the rain. These stones are all affordable and fun. Why not try something new?

Just a reminder...I love the challenge of redesigning estate pieces that are no longer relevant or loved. If Grandma's ring or Aunt Coco's broach are not your style, let's talk. I am certain we can come up with something new with said stones, that you'll love to wear.

Last, but not least, I have my fingertips on awesome lab diamonds, large loose stones and lab diamond tennis bracelets and necklaces of all sizes. They are affordable and present beautifully. (You'd never know the difference.) If you have a friend that may enjoy what I offer, please pass this information along. I promise I will reward you with your next purchase.

XO, Cathleen
